On October 1, 2022, I am running the St. George Half Marathon (13.1 miles) in St. George, Utah!  I will be raising money for The Cradle, a local adoption agency in Evanston, IL. Our family has been blessed by adoption and we are grateful for The Cradle. We adopted our son, Will, on April 4, 2013 from The Cradle and he spent close to 5 weeks after his birth at the on-site nursery in Evanston.  

Renowned as one of the foremost adoption agencies in the country since opening in 1923, The Cradle has found forever homes for more than 16,000 children. The Cradle provides lifelong support for all who are touched by adoption — adopted persons, birth parents, and adoptive parents.

The Cradle is the only adoption agency in the country with an on-site nursery. It’s a safe, neutral place for infants to stay while their parents take the time they need to decide if adoption will be the plan for this child.
