From Our Hearts to Yours
We are Eric and Felicia. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We hope that by reading our story, you will have a glimpse of what it will be like to be a part of our lives. We recognize that choosing a family is a big decision. Regardless of your decision, we admire your strength and you are in our hearts and prayers as you go through this process.

Our Story
We are a loving couple who value faith, family and fun. Our love story was 20 years in the making! We met while we were in high school but, surprisingly, we were not high school sweethearts. We went our separate ways after graduation until we reconnected on Facebook years later. After discovering we had similar interests and values, we decided to meet up for coffee. We knew we had something special after that first date. We got engaged in May 2016 and became husband and wife several months later. We have been married for ten years and have two dogs: Adamae, our four-year old Jack Russell/Beagle Mix and Oswald, our three-year old Dachshund mix.

What Eric Thinks about Felicia
Felicia is quite simply a blessing from the Lord. Once I finally worked up the courage to ask her out, my life changed in so many ways. She will love you in ways that have never been felt before. I’m constantly blown away by her empathy, resilience, joy, patience and kindness. I have seen her go through situations that would cause many of us to give up, but she always comes out of it better for the experience. She is a nurturer by default. Her youthful demeanor hides a lot of hard-earned wisdom. I’m often surprised at the joy she can create. It is a privilege to have her in my life. I’m blessed to be her husband.

What Felicia Thinks about Eric
Eric is a caring husband, an awesome partner and my best friend. I often say I feel God’s love for me through him. He cares deeply about others and has a has a good heart. If Eric sees someone in need, he does not hesitate to help even if it’s just offering them a kind word. He is a hard worker and great provider, but knows how to have fun. I look forward to spending quality time with him which usually ends with us having a good laugh together. It is a blessing to have him in my life. I have no doubt that he will make a great dad!

Why Adoption?
We always planned on having children when we got married, but infertility delayed those plans. After taking time to heal, we knew that we had so much love in our hearts to pour into a child, so we decided to start the path towards adoption. We believe that children are a blessing no matter how they come into our lives and look forward to expanding our family through adoption. We chose to work with The Cradle because of their open adoption values. We want our child to know their birth parents and where and who they come from. We will make every reasonable effort to keep the birth parents in our child’s life. We believe that the more people in our child’s life that care about them, the better.
