This Hits CLOSE TO HOME For Us All

For almost 100 years, The Cradle hasn’t stopped, and we’re not stopping now. Our HelpLine for pregnant women remains open. Our 24/7 infant Nursery is still providing loving shelter for babies. Our skilled social work staff is using telehealth technology to connect with pregnant women and adoptive families while staying safe at home with their loved ones.

Uncertainty is hitting close to home for all of us. But we will get through it together. In this financially challenging time, we need our Cradle family more than ever. May 5 is an unprecedented, global Giving Tuesday Now day of generosity, and The Cradle is taking part. You’ll be hearing from us throughout the day with at-home videos from Cradle staff who continue to support families touched by adoption while sheltering at home with their own loved ones.

It is the kickoff of our annual spring appeal. We never expected it to take the place of our much loved in-person spring events, but for the health and safety of all, it must. We hope to raise $300,000 by Memorial Day. Thanks to the generosity of Cradle friends who donated early and anchor donors to whom we are incredibly grateful, we are already 44% of the way there. More than ever before, we need our Cradle community to get us the rest of the way.

We know charitable giving at this time may be difficult, and we don’t take your support lightly. We are very grateful for the longstanding support of our Cradle community. We hope you will consider a donation from the heart on Giving Tuesday Now, or during the rest of our Cradle Close To Home spring appeal. Every gift matters and will make a real difference in the lives of the families touched by adoption whom we serve every day. On their behalf, we thank you.
