‘We may not have it all together, but together we have it all’ This is us, we live life one adventure at a time.  Through open adoption we hope to embark on our biggest adventure yet and would love to share it with you. We realize this is an incredibly difficult decision to make, no matter what path you choose we wish you peace of mind and Thank You for taking time to read more about us.

We both grew up in South Jordan Utah, a suburb of Salt Lake City.  We didn’t know each other growing up, even though our homes were down the street from each other.  We finally met in the summer of 2007.  Erin took a part time job at a local retail store where Josh was working.  What started out as a working relationship soon grew into much more.   After dating for 8 months we were engaged.  In a small ceremony we were married on August of 2008.  We have been married for 8 years now.  Erin was offered a promotion at work, which brought us out to the Chicago area just over a year ago.  We love to explore new places and are most excited about starting a family here!

About Josh:

I was born and raised is Salt Lake City, Utah. I am the complete polar opposite of Erin.  Preferring to be the silent observer instead of the life of the party.  I believe hard work is the key to success.  But this doesn't mean I don't know how to have fun.  Some would consider me a geek.... Ok, most.

About Erin:

I was born in Daytona Beach, Florida but was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. I am outgoing and love to involve everyone around me in my life. When I set a goal I do everything I can to achieve it. Having fun is always a priority, even if it's laughing at my own jokes. I always enjoyed going to school and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Interior Design.

For us, it's not just about bringing a child into our home. It's also about being open to the family and journey that will bring that child into our lives.  Open Adoption is important to us in helping our child know where they came from and how truly loved they are.  We'd like to celebrate all the people involved in creating a happy home for our child where they will be surrounded by love and support.

A Thank You:

That’s us in a nutshell. We really appreciate you taking a moment of your time to learn about us. We're very excited about growing our family and feel that adoption is the way we are meant to start. We hope nothing but the best for you at this difficult time in your life.

Thank You!
